Job Description
Experience with infrastructure management solutions and datacenter infrastructure in the CI and/or HCI space
Experience with Login VSI, good knowledge of setting up and performing benchmark tests for VDI solutions - VMware Horizon and Citrix Xen Desktop.
Experience configuring servers, virtualization, storage, network, etc. in data centers
Comfortable working in Linux environments, scripting etc.
Fast learner who can come up to speed quickly on new areas outside of their expertise and deliver positive business outcomes
Strong with technical documentation
Ability to own the deliverables, work independently and within a team
Ability to balance multiple tasks and deliver in a dynamic environment
Anticipates issues and addresses them proactively
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
Desirable Requirements
Good analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
Detail oriented, experience working with external vendors/service providers for delivering business outcomes
Experience working with project management tools such as JIRA, Rally, Agile methodologies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Possesses a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work
Key responsibilities:
As a solutions engineering team member, develop critical customer facing collateral like technical white papers, best practice guides, reference architectures, performance papers etc.
Follow and improve defined organizational standards and procedures for developing the content.
Must be able to host and facilitate discussions between engineering teams to drive open topics and resolve any open issues.
Interface with partner engg. teams as and when required
Individual will ensure that the contents are technically accurate, easy to understand and in line with industry standards
Estimate efforts and provide schedules for planned/assigned work
Prepare and present regular reports on progress
Qualification:
Education: Should have Bachelors/Master degree in Computer Science
Experience: 6 - 9 yrs exp.
